Massimo Di Pierro is an Associate Professor at the School of Computing at DePaul University in Chicago. At DePaul has taught numerous subjects covering the following topics: C++, Java, Python, Security, Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Parallel Algorithms, Numerical Algorithms, and Simulation Algorithms. Massimo is also the Director of the Master of Science in Computational Finance. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southampton in UK.
Massimo is the lead developer of web2py (http://www.web2py.com) and other open source software projects including FermiQCD (https://launchpad.net/qcd) and the Algorithms Animator (https://launchpad.net/algorithms-animator).
